Match Report
Two goals from Lucas Lindstrup were not enough to prevent the u18’s losing a closely fought encounter 2-3 to a hardworking Langley side.
Nick Hull’s side went ahead after 20 mins when Lucas drove in a spectacular 25 yard pile driver but were then pegged back when Langley equalised 5 minutes later from the penalty spot.
Although we started the 2nd half brightly as we looked to regain the lead, we conceded 2 goals in 5 minutes to go 3–1 down but we still continued to create clear cut chances and it was no surprise when Lucas scored from close range to set up a grand finale which the home team couldn’t quite capitalise on to gain the draw our efforts deserved.
