Match Report
“Well what can I say… the boys earned that one. It’s credit to them as players and us as a team. The mentality to never give up and work hard in the dying minutes of the game when things might not be going our way. I think at times in the transition we struggled, which, in fairness, made us concede chances and the three goals but the lads mentality to never give up and not settle for a draw has really made us proud as a management team. We saw 16 leaders out there last night.
I’m sure there were one or two saying for Markus not to hit it, but that just shows the confidence levels we can play at. To come off the bench and score an unbelievable goal in the dying seconds of the game… wow. The celebration with the team and spectators was amazing.
A huge thank you to all the fans that braved the chill last night to come and watch. We loved your support last night, encouraging us to keep going.”
