Well firstly I’d like to welcome everyone from AFC Winkfield today and looking forward to our third competitive game against you today.
Certainly I would like to be writing about lots of success on the pitch over the last few weeks but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case with two cup exits and a completely unacceptable second half performance on Saturday against Reading YMCA. We have spoken in depth as a management team and as a squad and we are very much determined to amend that performance!
Today’s game certainly won’t be an easy tie as a defeat by them prior to Christmas started our poor run of form, but we are working hard and taking one game at a time to finish the season strong in our final 9 games.
On a squad update we have a number of injuries in the camp with Sam Knight, Oli Bach, Rayden Shurvill and Kohki. Connor Allison serving his last game of his suspension.
Hope everyone enjoys the game and hopefully it’s a positive result for us all as a club!!
Matt
