Match Report
An excellent crowd of 431 came through the gates of Stag Meadow on Saturday in what was dubbed a title decider. Windsor’s plans took a knock just 3 minutes into the game when a heavy challenge on Ash Howes saw Matt Angell have to make an early substitution. Issy Chase-Kelly came on and made a nuisance of himself down the left hand side. With a strong wind behind them in the first half, the home side just about edged the play without truly testing the Westwood keeper. The second half was an even affair but again the home side just about edged it in terms of possession. In truth, a draw was a fair result, but if our final ball on occasions would have been more clinical, we could well have secured the three points. As it was, the result leaves Westwood on the verge of securing a deserved title.
