Matt Angell’s side marked their first home league game of the season with three hard fought points against a tough PFC Victoria side. The home side made 5 changes to the starting eleven that lost on Tuesday night against Oxhey with Ben King, Sam Whitehead, Jamie Griggs, Shaquille Johnson and Josh Pedley coming in. The away side started strongly and it was no surprise they found themselves a goal up in the 21st minute through Pawel Kowalkowski. But the introduction of Sean McDonnell at half time gave the home side better balance as an outlet down the right hand side. In the 64th minute we got our rewards for a strong start to the second half when Jatinder Liddar neatly equalised. That goal saw the introduction of younger Oli Bach, who excuse the pun was back from suspension, and 3 minutes later Liddar was upended in the penalty area and Oli calmly slotted home to secure us the three points! On to Tuesday now and a home game against Chalfont St Peter!
