Match Report
Tuesday evening saw us move into the 3rd Round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup with an excellent 4-0 win away at step 5 side Wallingford & Crowmarsh. Pawel Kowalkowski quite rightly took all the plaudits, but it was an 0utstanding team performance from everyone on the pitch. We went ahead in just the 11th minute, when Pawel crossed the ball into the six yard box, only for the ball to be directed into his own net by Thomas Carter. Pawel got onto the scoresheet himself early in the second half when he chipped the home side’s keeper with a deft chip. Pawel made it 3-0 from the penalty spot in the 80th minute after Jatinder Liddar was brought down in the area. But, the icing on the cake came in injury time when Pawel got his hat-trick with a possible goal of the season contender. Watch the video below to make your own judgement! A tie against Aylesbury United now awaits us!
