Penn & Tylers Green U18s vs Windsor & Eton U18s

Another disappointing performance to say the least. This isn’t the level of performance that reflects our standards as a group or the club we’re apart of. We will learn from this and it’s down to me and our coaching staff to fix.

We always knew that this season would have its challenges with a new, young group but we cannot afford to have performances like this if we want to develop. The players are learning but we have to focus more in games and not get caught up in the moment.

I’m pleased to see Harry on the scoresheet but that goal shouldn’t mask our poor performance as a whole. Sadly, he had to come off after 20 minutes due to a hamstring injury that I’m told isn’t too severe but we’ll be monitoring it closely.

We’ve now got to band together and train hard this week to prepare for Didcot away in the cup on Monday. What’s happened has happened, it’s like a mistake on the pitch, we just need to move on and act on what can we do to improve on that.
