Match Report
Our long winning streak continued on Tuesday evening when Matt Angell’s team battled to a hard fought 2-1 victory away at an excellent London Samurai Rovers side. Shaquille Johnson was the man of the moment with two well-taken goals. His first came after just 3 minutes, but that early goal was not enough to deter a determined home side who at times took the game to us. It was therefore not a total surprise when they found themselves an equaliser half way through the second half thanks to Haruma Yunome. But a mark of this squad is not to let a set back effect them and 10 minutes later we were back in front when Shaquille scored his second and the side’s winner, turning the ball in from a Mo Davies corner. Attention now switches to the FA Vase where the side will look to continue its winning run even further.
