Match Report
A goal just before half time by Isaiah Chase-Kelly was enough to secure Matt Angell’s side three points away at Finchampstead on Saturday. The side went into the game knowing 3 points were essential if we were to maintain any chance of catching Westwood for the title. Sadly, Westwood’s win meant the title will not be heading to Stag Meadow, but that should not diminish the fact that this was another excellent performance away to a strong Finchampstead side, building on the 3 points gained away at Maidenhead Town. All efforts now head into the two remaining league games of the season away at Holyport and at home to Reading City, as we look to secure the runners-up position.
