Women’s football in Windsor is in its infancy, so where has Georgie played previously, and always a footballer?
“I have been playing football since I was 5 years old! I’ve played with many different amazing teams such as Maidenhead under 16’s, Maidenhead Ladies and Reading FC which has given me some amazing experiences. Now with Windsor and Eton ladies, I’m having the best time with an amazing bunch of girls!”
What’s your best position and or where would you prefer to play?
“I have always been a striker and I have never wanted to play anywhere else. Simple as that!!”
What’s your ambition?
“To get as many wins with Windsor and Eton Ladies as possible. It’s our first season together and we’ve all worked very hard to get to where we are now, and we deserve the wins.”
Best piece of footballing advice you’ve ever been given?
“There is no I in team! Teamwork is crucial to getting a positive result in a match game.”
Any player in the current WEFC line up you’d hate to play against every week?
“For me, it would have to be Shelby (our central defender). Luckily for me I am completely the opposite end of the pitch. She is extremely clever when it comes to defending. She has a great eye for the game and is a brick wall!”
What do you do outside of WEFC?
“I love spending time with my wife and my family. From doing spontaneous days out to booking holidays! My nephew (Oscar) is my absolute bestie, he absolutely loves coming to watch me play football all you can hear is “go G go G”. I also work at Heathrow airport, and I am training to become a technician.”
