Interview: Mollie Jardella

24 October 2026,

Our thanks to one of Cathy’s new stars of the Women’s team, Mollie Jardella.

Mollie has joined us having played the last couple of seasons with Taplow Ladies and has made an instant impact!

“Before that (playing for Taplow) I played two seasons at Burnham Juniors and had also played for my college team for two seasons. I combined football with middle distance running and cross country… I’ve completed 165 park runs!”

“I’m a pacy creative winger who likes to create opportunities from both left and right wing, as it gives you that freedom to take on players.”

Whats your ambition?

“To win promotions and just climb those leagues by playing as a team and having that balance of enjoying yourself and playing your football.”

The best piece of footballing advice you’ve ever been given?

“One bad moment doesn’t define your game, your response does.”

You mentioned your pace previously, is that your biggest asset?

“Yes, it helps me beat the defender every time! I’m working on improving my self-belief.”

Who’s the best player you’ve played with in a team?

“I couldn’t name one player; there are so many players – especially within this Windsor squad. All outstanding players and driven. Our squad from back to front fight for each other and never give up. That’s an important quality and that is what makes players and teams good.”

What do you do outside of WEFC?

“I play for my university team. I coach and referee youth football and I am at university studying Football coaching and Management.”
