Matt Angell has bolstered his squad for the 2025/26 with the signing of experienced goalkeeper Carl Dennison.
Last season Carl was named player of the year for step 4 play-off finalists Flackwell Heath and earlier in his career was number 1 here at Stag Meadow for Mick Woodham’s Windsor FC.
“Carl worked with Adam previously at Burnham and he couldn’t speak more highly about him. Denno is a real competitor and leader on the pitch, has great distribution and shot stopping ability and will also be a great mentor to our younger keepers like Conaill,” said Matt Angell.
Carl himself is delighted to make a return to Stag Meadow. “It’s a great pleasure to be part of WEFC. It’s an amazing club to be part of with the direction they are heading. They had a great season last year and I’m hoping to help them achieve their objectives this season. It’s great to be on board with an enthusiastic management team that are always striving for more.”
