Windsor & Eton FC can today confirm that 1st team manager Matt Angell will be leaving his role with immediate effect.
Matt has played an important role since the formation of the club, guiding the 1st team with dedication and commitment throughout our journey to date. Under his leadership, the club have celebrated two promotions, milestones that will forever be part of our history.
Senior Club Chairman Mark Cooper said:
“When Matt was appointed at the formation of our club two years ago, he faced the daunting challenge of assembling a squad just one month before the season began – with the clear objective of securing promotion. Not only did he achieve that, but he went on to lead us to the CCL Division One title the very next season. Matt has been an outstanding leader and figurehead for this club, and his presence will be missed. He will always be welcomed back with open arms.”
