Match Report
A 90th minute winner from Pawel Kowallkowski secured Matt Angell’s side a huge 3 points away at Colliers Wood on Saturday, and in doing so made it 7 wins on the bounce. It was not an easy victory though and credit must go to the home side for a tough encounter. On a breezy day, Jordan Mbalo gave the home side the lead in the 15th minute, before Ben Catt scored an excellent header from Tom Hennah’s free kick to level things up less than 10 minutes later. The scores remained level at half time and in truth going in level on terms was a fair scoreline at the interval. The match really came alive in the later stages. Both sides were reduced to 1o men in injury time when Joe Twilley for Colliers Wood and Kai Boylan for us, were given their marching orders by the referee, but despite that there was still enough time for an outstanding finale, when 4 minutes into injury time Pawel made it 3 goals in 3 games and secure us a huge 3 points. It’s fair to say, he’s quickly becoming a cult hero.
