Windsor & Eton suffeered a Ney Year hangover going down 3-1 away at Didcot Town.
A strong start by the Royalists should have seen them take and early lead run away with the game.
Michael Chennells sent an effort wide and then Dwane Lee fired over as Didcot struggled with a Windsor corner.
Chenells then went through with only Steve Smith to beat but he couldn't find a was past the home keeper.
Didcot capitalised on Windsors inability to finish and got themselves ahead when Elliot Osbourne-Ricketts found himself with the ball in the area and shot past Rob Bullivant.
The Windsor players were left protesting after it appeared that Osbourne-Ricketts was offside but the goal stood.
It took Windsor just 5 minutes to get back level when Jake Parsons cross struck the arm of Andy Gunn but before the referee had a chance to decide if it was a penalty or not Paul Robinson stabbed the ball into the net.
Windsor should have taken the lead a minute later when Chennells picked out Robinson on the right and his cross was met by David Pearce forcing Smith to save well.
Windsor started the second half as they had the first and again should have got themselves ahead when Dwane Lee's free kick looked goal bound until Smith somehow got his hand to the ball.
Midway though the half and it started to all gio wrong for Windsor when Michael Bartley held back David Woozley allowing Josh Huggins to run through and slot past Bullivant.
Chennells could have pulled the scores level straight from the restart as he raced through but was again denied by Smith.
Didcot sealed the win moments later when a long ball allowed Osbourne-Ricketts cross from inside the box for Bartley to finish easily.
