Windsor & Eton made it two wins on the bounce defeating Halesowen Town 2-0 at Stag Meadow.

The Royalists were soon on top and should have take a 15 minute lead when Fiston Manuella slid the ball through for Michael Chennells but he was unable to beat Dean Coleman.

At the other end Delroy Preddie was in fine form to deny Michael Hayden who had managed to find room in the box to shoot.

Windsor took a deserved lead a couple of minutes later when Jake Parsons found Chennells who crossed allowing David Pearce to shoot but his effort was blocked by Coleman only for the ball to rebound of Pearce and into the net.

Halesowen should have pulled level just before half time when Dallas Moore headed Daryl Taylor’s corner just wide of the post.

The second half saw three early changes for the visitors as they tried to get back into the game but it did nothing to stop the Windsor pressure.

Chennells hit the post when he managed to turn in the box following a Parsons corner and then came the killer second goal.

Preddie’s long ball down field found Pearce who crossed for Manuella to stab in at the near post.

Rubben Izquierdo should have one better when he shot high and wide from close range and Preddie was again on top form to save at from Lee Osborne.

Halesowen managed to pull a goal back in the sixth minute of injury time when a quick free kick made its way to Stefan Moore who shot low past Preddie.
