Windsor & Eton extended their unbeaten league run to 4 games with a well deserved 4-1 win at home against Weymouth.

Following on from a determined performance against Swindon Supermarine at the weekend, Windsor soon tore into their opponents.

With less than 5 minutes gone Jake Parsons corner came back off the post after the ball eluded Tom Manley.

Weymouth failed to clear the resulting corner where Michael Chennells was then denied twice with his first effort being blocked on the line by Matthew Oldring and then a header held by Manley.

Windsor took a deserved lead just a few minutes later when a superb passing move eventually saw Jake Parsons find Michael Chennells who blasted past Manley.

The lead was soon doubled as Windsor continued to up the pressure and give the visitors very little time, if any, on the ball.

Another fine passing move saw Dave Pearce get past Oldring and cross low across the area for Parsons to slot past Manley.

Windsor continued to move the ball around the pitch giving Weymouth very little chance of making any kind of progress.

In fact, the best and only real chances of the half for the visitors came from home defenders almost beating their own keeper.

The second half saw Weymouth start well but again could find nothing in the final third of the pitch.

Windsor on the other hand continued to play the ball around, put pressure on and effectively kill the game off.

A poor pass allowed Parsons to break down the right and send in a low cross for Chennells to finish from close range.

A flurry of changes from both sides did little to aid Weymouth's cause as Windsor were presented with an opportunity for a fourth goal.

Chennells got clear of the defence and, with only Manley to beat, the Terras keeper sent Chennells tumbling but referee Lymer played on only for Benjamin Geering to send Pearce to the floor for a penalty.

Chennells took the opportunity to complete his hat-trick and duly delivered giving Manley little chance.

Weymouth did manage to pull a goal back in the final few minutes when Courtney Pitt managed to get the ball into the box for substitute Jamie McGuiness to bundle over the line.
