Windsor & Eton's Red Insurance Cup match at AFC Hayes only lasted 37 minutes after it was abandoned due to a frozen pitch.
Sam Wadieh had given the Royalists a 3rd minute lead when he turned in Paul Robinsons low free kick.
Many had questioned the referee's decision to play the game before kick off but he opted to start the match.
All bar one slip up was from an AFC Hayes player and once one of the assistant referee's went over that was enough for the referee to call a halt.
The two sides will now meet again on Tuesday 14th December with a 7:45pm kick off.
